O, Clap Your Hands

by John Miner

Background
I remember riding the commuter bus back home after work one day, years ago, and while reading in the Psalms, the inspiration for this song was planted in me.

The musical concept is reminiscent of brass infused rock tunes of the 60’s and 70’s. Bill captures the spirit in his brass arrangement, with the organ and electric guitar carrying forth and even a tempo break-down at the end. And the brass trio is smokin’! So, try not clapping – just try!
